Food Resources Available During SNAP Suspension
We know that the temporary suspension of SNAP benefits is causing concern for some families. Below is a list of local resources that can help provide groceries and meals during this time. Please don’t hesitate to use any of these options as needed; these programs are here to support our community.
Local Food Resources
- Hopelink Food Markets – Operates five markets in Bellevue, Redmond, Shoreline, Kirkland, and Carnation. Clients can shop for free and choose items that fit their household needs. https://www.hopelink.org/programs/food-program/
- Kirkland Food Bank – Call 425-889-7880. You must apply before visiting.
- Woodinville Storehouse Food Bank – Open Tues 6–7:20 PM & Sat 9–10:20 AM. Walk-ins welcome! Bring ID for all family members and proof of residency (Woodinville, Kirkland, or Redmond). https://www.woodinvillestorehouse.org/
- A Plate Full (Salt House Church, across from Lake Washington High School) – Free food boxes with bread, meat, cheese, snacks, juice, canned goods, fruits, and hygiene items.
