Dear Families and Students,

My name is Neil Gerrans, and I am thrilled to join the Thoreau Elementary community as Associate Principal.  I have worked in public schools in Renton, Seattle, and Lake Washington school districts for the past 20 years.  I have a 5th grade daughter and 7th grade son who attend their neighborhood schools.

I am excited to continue to support greater inclusion of all students in Lake Washington School District, and to work with the Thoreau staff to support your student’s growth in the coming school year.

When I am not at school, I enjoy playing board games, gardening, travelling and spending time with my family.
